Talaga Saat Puncak

It is really hidden gem in Puncak area. Natural lake in high altitute, surrounded by tea plantation. Very well managed with concrete walking trek around the lake. Moreover with several leisure huts provided, all in good condition, complete with trash bin and hand sanitizer in every hut. Location is 1.5km inside from main street Puncak, Atta’awun grand mosque on right side and just after Melrimba Garden on left side you will see left branch road as start go in to the site. The road is still bad, you have to use SUV car, or motorcycles.

Overpriced. There are fee for everything. The road is really bumpy. Make sure the vehicle is good. Even though you could use the golf car from the parking lot, it will cost you more.

Having a mini vacation with my little family. The scene is perfect. The air is clean and fresh. The water is sooo cool. But the street to the glamping room is not good if it’s a rainy day. If you are family with a baby, you must make sure the water in the bathroom is a good temperature for the baby because the bathroom in the glamping doesn’t have a water heater. O ya in the room also doesn’t have a tv, but has WiFi networks. The phone signal is good in the Talaga area.

visit in the winter is not recommended , you will get mist and rainy all day, the road is not good enough there is build with arranged stone not with asphalt you can see it in my video, but it is good for bike track if you here with bicycle , there is so many challange with road like this. try not to fall because the stone is too sharp to your body especially with your face😁 , make it slow but sure, i like the bike track you can get adrenaline here. the talaga saat is 0 km river Ciliwung , you can see the lake flows to the river ciliwung that is the biggest rivers in Bogor and Jakarta. I think if you visit in the summer you will get good photo because you can see the pangrango and gede mountain. here is my experience

It was a nice area for a walk around a small lake and tea plantation on the hillside. It is not large or strenuous. We enjoyed walking in from the gate to avoid the rocky road in. Only 1.5km walk to the lake from the gate was worth it for added steps and enjoyment of scenery.
