Cafe Kochi

Came for nasi lemak for my daughter. She chose ayam sambal & telur mata. I myself had 2 softboiled eggs ( 1 set) we both ordered ice water. Nasi lemak was mediocre. Chicken was tough. But not unacceptable. What surprised me though was the price. All together it was rm19.10. So I asked the breakdown of price. RM10.50 for the nasi lemak ayam. RM6.90 for the 2 softboiled eggs! And the rest is for the 2 ice water… 🫤. So,a pass for me for this eatery in the future.

We came here to have breakfast for the first time and probably for the last time. The place looked dark from outside but its ok. We didnt mind that… it was ok once we went inside. Immediately we noticed a worker at the counter was busy making video call or something while ignoring us. We got our table and had to wait for someone to clear the table for us. Everyone looked busy except for that person at the counter. She came after one of the workers told her to clear our table. The table was cleared and she wiped the table by swiping off some leftover on the table towards us! Wow…. that was unbelievable. And then we waited again for someone to take our orders. The same worker came to take our orders (after she went to get a roti canai for herself and took a bite.) We took our nasi lemak and ordered 1 roti canai telur. The roti didn’t arrive even after we finished eating our nasi lemak so… so .. slowly. After asking the waitress about the roti we had to wait for a few more mins until its done. The roti canai boy was very slow… he didn’t seem at all rushed eventhough he had many orders for the roti.
Overall… bad first impression. The food was ok and we would even called it quite tasty if not for the bad and slow service. A bit pricy but it was as expected because of the area of the business. The cashier did apologize for the late order. I hope they change for the better and maybe these experiences only happened to us. Peace!

Very2 nice chicken grill & Kids carbonara with 5 star service & Quality… will come again will my big family…. Really Recommended for those who wanted to find wester food with reasonable price…..

I ordered aglio olio and its less then RM15. And its really good! My boyfriend who didn’t want to order anything initially even ate half of my food! I tried my friend’s buttermilk chicken and its really good as well. Watermelon juice that I ordered was bery juicy too. Food came very quickly and service was amazing as well!

The grilled chicken chop was tender and well-seasoned. The milk butter chicken, their signature dish, had a creamy texture with just the perfect amount of spice. Both dishes were flavorful and satisfying. The workers were very friendly and welcoming. Totally recommend this place. Would definitely be back to try other dishes.
