Sorry to say but this is the first and last time.
There was no word of apology when my wife chewed the orange rubber binder in the vegetable (refer to the picture)
The overall food is ok but the portions are small. Black pepper sauce does not blend properly (refer to the picture)
First time I chewed a grain of black pepper😂.
I don’t want a review, but because the “service” is not satisfactory, I have to. I didn’t even ask to change the food, I said sorry, it’s okay but the shop boss just took the rubber and called me back😂
The two stars are because the shop is beautiful and air-conditioned😂
The lamb shank with mantou bread was a highlight—soft, tender, and slightly sweet, paired perfectly with the fluffy yet crispy bread. My daughters enjoyed their spaghetti Bolognese despite it being a touch spicy. My wife’s choice, the roti kukus with kaya, was equally delightful, with the kaya offering a rich, creamy sweetness.
While the food was undeniably delicious, the service left room for improvement, as it was slower than expected. Additionally, the pricing felt on the higher side, which may not suit all budgets. Despite this, the quality of the dishes made it a memorable visit.
Have only been here once and tried the tofu berlauk. It was quite delicious. Will come here again to try the other dishes. Staff says they open earlier for breakfast on weekends with more local items.
I recently had dinner at this cafe and unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet my expectations. I ordered the macaroni carbonara and a chicken hotplate with brown sauce. While the chicken hotplate was decent and edible, the macaroni carbonara was a real letdown. The gravy was neither thick nor flavorful, making the dish quite disappointing. I hope they improve their recipes in the future.
Went for dinner and order 6 plates of food (4 main dish + 2 appetizer) and 4 drinks and the total came out to be rm136. I would say the price is fine but portion wise is quite small especially the fish n chip. They use big plate so when the food is not that big it makes the portion looks even smaller than usual. But tastewise is fine. Will come again to try out another dishes. Keuyteow kerang is nice but need more wokhei
