Deer Park

It’s my 2nd time here at Perdana but 1st time to get inside of Taman Rusa. I scanned the QR code at the door before entering. The deer are all seated and in groups.

A mini park within the KL Botanical Garden (Taman Botani Kuala Lumpur) area, with about 20+ deers. Nicely landscaped area.

Pleae note that the opening times have been revised to 9:00 – 18:00 daily.

You need to walk for 10-15 mins from the deer park entrance before you can see any of those poor deers. Obviously, they were not properly cared for. The environment needs improvement too.

The place is ok.. Not much to see other than deers, would be nice if there’s petting/feeding area and.. oh dear, the dear looks depressing. One of the deer their antler removed and had an open wound with flies flying around. Other than that at least it’s free and the surrounding view is nice tho 😁

I only saw some deer, and some of them were very old. I couldn’t see them up close, and many cages were abandoned and covered with moss. If this place is renovated, I believe it will attract more tourists. I think the most beautiful thing here is the waterfall.
