Had good hiking activities with colleagues.. the environment is clean and suitable for family and friends.. even people brings kids too..
Entrance are convenient for gatherings and preparation..
Parking is difficult.. but can manage to find..
Theres an entrance fee of RM2 per person, CASH ONLY.
Hang on to the pass and return it back at the entrance.
Only 1 trail is open as of right now (July 2024). The trail from the park entrance to Denai 3 Puteri trail that leads to the peak overlooking NKVE/PLUS.
Other trails are closed off and not maintained.
Hike takes about 2hr 30′ – 3hr , same trail out and back, depending on how long your stops are.
The final 20mins before the peak can become 30-40 mins because there’s steeper sections that need rope and usually will get traffic jam. Be patient and make sure everyone goes up or down safely.
Good Hike thats mostly flat and gets suddenly steep at the end. Very stuffy if hot day/later in the morning.

It’s my first visit to this place.
No designated carparks available, only illegal parking along the roadside is available.
We purposely choose a weekday for the trail walk to avoid crowd.
Entrance fee of RM 2 for an adult and RM 1 for a child is required. Cash term. I didn’t see if they receive cashless payment. Receipt will be issued. A pass card will also be issued along which need to be returned when we are out from the trail. It’s a way to keep track if all hikers are out.
Pleasant trail walking day, with minimal crowd. No rush, no “tailgaters”, very enjoyable trail walk at own pace.
One hour to reach the peak, another hour out to the entrance, total 2 hours if you want to do it like me without rest for ascending and taking photos in between trail walking while descending.
Feeling safe along the trail because there are many sign along the trail, will not get lost easily, unless you purposely cross the line into the forbidden route.
Saw previous reviews that there’re many fallen trees blocking the route, but it was all cleared during this hike.
Expect to wet your shoes along the way, especially after rainy days because many spots of stagnant water noted all along the trail. My legs are not long enough to jump and avoid them. My hiking shoes got messy a little but that’s not an issue.
Recommend to wear long pants to avoid getting cuts from grass, trees, rocks…
The view at the peak is not rewarding enough for myself. No great views, no fresh air. It’s just a highway view, with some green and the rest are buildings.
Nice spot for easy hike. Kids friendly hiking spot.
Great Hike Place. Can park in front of SMK kota damansara, its safe. Permit RM 2 and the forest is well maintained with very clear trail. Can hike as far as we want. Got few checkpoints and the final peak was denai 3 puteri which is very worth. The hike is easy and the part near peak is a bit moderate. One important thing is please do not litter around the forest and be a good responsible hiker with adequate common sense.
A trail that I believe is superbly underrated. Clean, good mix of incline/declines, mostly not degraded forests with good markings. You don’t even need an app to find your way around. For a seasoned hiker this trail is easy. For someone new it might be moderately challenging. Views from the top are great. Came early on a Friday and it was just me alone at the park for a whole 30 mins. Definitely one of the better hikes around KL.
