Always on renovation and a lot of showroom were closed.. Second time visit same thing happened.. A let down..
Why I love this museum.
1. Free entrance. Yes! Entrance is free!
2. Ample of parking space.
3. The place is huge and not crowded. Its like only us were there during our visit. Please go on week days.
4. Items displayed are well maintained.
5. You will learn and understand more about the history of selangor and their culture. I love the textiles part very much.
6. Bring along your kids. They will. Enjoy it. Among interesting items displayed are huge fish and crocodile bones.
Awesome! Many things I’ve learned today. Full of information and I want to visit again with my students some time later. It’s free and you’ll need to take your breakfast before entering the museum because you’ll be spending a lot of your time taking pictures while digesting the information and the history of Selangor. Well done!
On a chance encounter, I found myself alone, waiting for an appointment, at this museum. The architecture is distinctly Bugis, and it holds an exhibition featuring the former Menteri Besar’s car, old trains, and official vehicles once used by state government officials.
The outside display was interesting. The old train, the old cars and some tattered dinosaurs models seem to be able to attract kids to like museum in the first place. The parking lot was quite ample for the visitors
