Surau Al-Ansar Seksyen 2 Shah Alam

My favorite surau as it is the closest to my home. Friday prayers are done here also. At present, Sept.2019, the surau is under construction for additional areas for prayers and a minaret added. Due to complete by January 2020.

I went to Hajj course this year at this Surau. For me, the Surau has all the facility needed as mosque. Recently renovated , the prayer hall is spacious and comfortable. It’s fully air-conditioned. The only issue is insufficient parking space for cars. The most important thing about this mosque is that it is well administered by group of AJKs. The Hajj course is free and the mosque did not ask any fee for food during the entire 13 weeks course. The Surau is supported by many generous donors and accomodating administrators. Well done !

Attended Kursus Asas Haji here, for 12 Sundays. It’s a small surau, yet user friendly. The prayer hall is very comfortable with air conditioner, toilet is clean, plenty of place to wash hands and handwash around.

The admin of the surau is very efficient in term of participants registration, and we’re given good food and drinks during the 15 minutes break.

However, parking can be tricky when there’s a big crowd. Overall, very happy with the surau.

Solat Jumaat (Friday prayers) now possible for walk-ins, but only if you come REALLY early (limited spaces available) and follow the necessary S.O.P.

A mosque that has recently given an uplift renovation and new carpet. The place is clean, looks elegant with air-conditioned prayer hall. They have chairs with disabilities, and the place is wheelchair accessible (on the right side of the building). The ablution area in the open area next to the toilets. Visited this place in Feb 2020 for Isha’ prayer.
