Get ready to indulge in a culinary adventure at The Humble Food Company, where good food and warm hospitality await!
It’s my first time coming to this establishment. Upon entering the door, we are greeted by calm 80s music. We weren’t sure how the ordering system works since no staff greeted us when we walked in but when we asked one of the staff members, he politely explained to us. Kudos to him for good customer service. The food is amazing. Fish and chips is our favourite. They also provide play area for kids which is a bonus for family with small children. This is the kind of restaurant that makes you want to come again
Foods are good as usual except for creme brulee is not as silky smooth as before. Previously, their creme brulee is firm around the edges but still jiggles slightly in the middle.
Suggest to use their own app rather than Grab. Gotta top up first, or else order would not go through.
This café, with a few outlets, was our first visit, and while the food was quite tasty, the presentation fell short. The chocolate milkshake was unexpectedly served in a plastic cup, which felt off for a café setting. Additionally, the latte art was not appealing at all. Overall, the prices are reasonable, and the food is decent, but there’s definitely room for improvement in both presentation and drink selections.
This was my second time visiting here.
My family loved the food! The pesto pasta is a personal favorite the food came out fast.
We tried the lamb skewed as well, very tasty.
Not only is the quality of the food but the prices are also reasonable, which makes it feel like you’re getting great value for your money.
The only downside is the distance from home, but honestly, it’s worth the trip. I’ll definitely be back again
I recently visited The Humble Food Company and had a good experience overall, but there were definitely some areas that could be improved.
**Food**: The food was delicious, especially the mac and cheese, fish and chips, and lamb steak. The flavors were great, but there were some drawbacks in presentation and portion sizes. The mac and cheese came in a small hot pot and didn’t look particularly appetizing, and the lamb steak was also a bit small, which felt disappointing considering the price.
**Price**: Pricing at the restaurant is a mixed bag. Some dishes felt quite pricey given the portion sizes, while others were reasonably priced. It’s a place where you might have to carefully consider what you’re ordering if you’re budget-conscious.
**Service**: Unfortunately, the service was lacking. The staff were not very friendly, and I found them inattentive. A bit more care and respect for customers would go a long way in enhancing the dining experience. On the bright side, the soft drinks are free-flow, which is a nice perk.
**Ambience**: The restaurant offers hourly parking, and on weekends, there are plenty of spaces available, making it convenient for diners. The atmosphere was pleasant overall, but the service staff need to elevate the experience.
I’m not entirely sure about the background of the cooks, but it seemed that there were more foreign cooks, possibly from Bangladesh, than local ones. Overall, despite a few flaws, I had a good experience, mainly due to the food quality.
