Warong Tepi Bukit (malumalu cafe)

A brand new cafe (seriously, they don’t have a signboard yet!). Loved the chicken chop varieties. Food tastes good. Price is OK.

Food is better than I expected. Grilled chicken with fries and steamed chicken is pretty good at a good price.

I like the interior settings stuffed with travel memorablia. Cotton table cloths are used, making it very cozy.
John Denver/Kenny Roger/Carpenter songs fill the background.

Very busy. So be ready to wait at peak hour. I waited for 35 minutes.

Price ok for the portion. Nasi Penyet set with drink only RM9.90. Nasi Penyet tastes meh. Butter chicken tastes like creamy sweet corn. Got 3 sambal options. Sambal Bali ok for non-spicy eaters. Service needs to improve. Ordered 2 apple juices, got 1. Ordered 2 Indomee, got 1 too. Pls double check orders

Warong Tepi Bukit has been one of my favourite restaurants if I’m searching for a good Thai & Western food.

Food are fairly priced. Good portion, sometimes I can’t even finish their food myself. Friendly staff, and calm atmosphere.

The only complained is just sometimes the flies are just too many. But I know that is somehow uncontrollable.

Easy to find parking. Great atmosphere with relaxing jazz. Went for dinner.

Had chicken grill and nasi goreng kunyit. Chicken grill was ok, however small portion.

Fried rice on another hand was way too oily. And the taste was plain. Definitely need to be improved. Didnt finish fried rice since it is too oily literally in every scoop.
